The micropores on modified atmosphere packaging bags are customized based on the respiration characteristics of different fruits and vegetables. After harvesting, fruits and vegetables remain alive, absorbing O₂ and releasing CO₂. Appropriate micropores allow fruits and vegetables to spontaneously regulate and maintain a lower O₂ content and a higher CO₂ content inside the packaging bag, thereby reducing the respiration rate and metabolic activity of the fruits and vegetables, and achieving the effect of extending shelf life.
Extends shelf life and reduces weight loss during transportation; allows for cheaper transportation options; creates new export opportunities, enabling products to reach further destinations; and is biodegradable.
